Welcome to Artists303 – West Country Artists

Artists303 is a professional West Country community formed in Ilminster in 1965 by artists living and working in towns and villages near the A303 with the stated aims of:

• Promoting member’s work through exhibitions.
• Encouraging members to maintain a progressively creative and serious approach to their work.
• Supporting the cause of the Visual Arts.

Currently there are 6 active members but 1 more new member has joined and their profile is being prepared to add to the website. Entry is by election based on the quality of submitted work. In this way the group has maintained its standards over the years and continues to enhance its reputation.

The strength of Artists303, lies in its diverse disciplines of painting, printmaking, mixed media and sculpture. Images produced by this contemporary group range from abstract to figurative; are imaginative and energetic and have broad appeal.

Artists303 present at least one self-curated exhibition a year.
